A 6.3 I just picked up off ebay at 8pm on Xmas for a song. Moral of the story is don't list a car one week before a major holiday. That and be prepared to shaft your family for 20 minutes so you can bid.
She was sitting for 11 years because of a suspension problem. 5 years before that, somebody spent 38 hours on a good paint job. Not sure how much of the repairs are bondo and how much was steel, but she looks good now. First, I have to sort out the fuel and ignition to make sure she runs well. Then I can turn my attention to the suspension. The tow underside shots of the rear shows a 2x4 on one side and length of muffler pipe on the other, giving her a lopsided look. Can't wait to fix that and put her on the road. I got a stack of repair receipts with her. Seems the most common repairs were replacing the exhaust at Midas and fixing air bellows. In other words, she wasn't driven on a daily basis, so the things that die from lack of use did. The records reveal that in 1972 she was in NY and had 79,900km on her. She spent time in Florida and Cape Cod, which is where I fetched her from the day after I purchased her.
This page will evolve as I get my hands dirty and have more time to compose a better web page.
