I got a xerox of the data card in the mail today from the classic center. It is almost illegible, so they've requested a cleaned up copy from Germany. The car came from the factory as DB180, "Silbergrau Metalic", But somebody repainted it to a some odd shade of grey (DB 169, 171 or 178).
Les Blumner was visiting NY, so he said I can bring the car over and he'd take a look at it for me. We spent two solid days jawing, and hanging out, and about 10 hours of that were spent getting our gloves dirty. We got it running, checked out the hydraulics, and got a few surprises, like brand new injectors, a wasps nest, and a blown differential.
